Chin Mudra for Memory Power, Sleep Disorder and More

Chin Mudra is a common Mudra many do when they practice meditation.

What is Chin Mudra?

According to Yoga gurus, the Chin Mudra is as follows:

The fingers in the Chin Mudra represent the self (index finger) rising above Maya (worldly concerns), Karma (spiritual concerns), and Ego (personal concerns) to meet the higher self (or God).

How to do Chin Mudra?

Touch the index finger and the thumb finger together in both hands as shown in the photo.

When you meditate do this Mudra, it will help you to focus on meditation. I do this Chin Mudra when I also do breathing exercises or Pranayama.

Benefits of Chin Mudra:

The benefits are as follows:

* Increases memory power and sharpens the brain
* Enhances concentration and prevents Insomnia
* If we practice it regularly, it will cure all psychological disorders like Mental, Hysteria, Anger and Depression

Sometimes when I have trouble sleeping the night, I meditate silently and use this Mudra, it is very effective.

There is another version of Chin Mudra as shown below.
