7-Year-Old Autistic Girl Sings The National Anthem Wows Crowd

Gina Marie Incandela a singing phenom.

The girl didn’t speak until she was 3-years-old and by age 7 she has become a talented singer with an incredible voice. She gave a brilliant rendition of the National Anthem during the playoffs between Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics.
Orlando Magic is having the finest season and is just one win away from the NBA Finals. It doesn’t need any more inspiration but Gina Marie Incandela, 7, seems to inspire the Magic team with her beautiful voice.

Gina Marie Incandela as a toddler was diagnosed with autism. She had a speech disorder and was unable to speak until she was 3-years-old. But now she has become an amazing singer.

Incandela sings the National Anthem at various sports arenas and concerts across the country.

Incandela’s parents sent her to a school with special needs and the teachers trained her to speak using music therapy. She heard country singer Leanne Rimes sing “The Star Spangled Banner”, since then Incandela loves to sing the anthem.

Another interesting statistic, whenever she sings for Orlando Magic, the team wins and has a winning record in the post season (4-0).

In the video she sings before the Game 4 between Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics. Orlando won the game 116-114 in overtime.

Incandela told Shannon Owens of the Orlando Sentinel:

"It just makes peoples' heart feel good and they like it when I sing...And it makes the Magic win every single time."

It is an awesome and inspiring performance.

Don't Mess With Me (Funny)

Permanent Solution

This is a great quote, not sure who wrote this.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.”

Suicide might be the easiest thing to do, but no one is sure what happens afterwards, it may be even more difficult, what then? Another thing we may never get another opportunity in Life.  It is not like a video game we can play life over and over again as we wish.

How To Measure Success In Life

This is how Warren Buffett describes the success of one's life in his book "Snow Ball":

"Basically, when you get to my age, you'll really measure your success in life by how many of the people you want to have love you actually love you.

I know people who have a lot of money, and they get testimonial dinners and they get hospital wings named after them. But the truth is that nobody in the world loves them. If you get to my age in life and nobody thinks well of you, I don't care how big your bank account is, your life is a disaster...

The trouble with love is that you can't buy it. You can buy sex. You can buy testimonial dinners. You can buy pamphlets that say how wonderful you are. But the only way to get love is to be lovable. It's very irritating if you have lot of money. You'd like to think you could write a check: "I'll buy a million dollars' worth of love". But it doesn't work that way. The more you give love away, the more you get."

Listen to the sage, in order to be really happy and be successful in life, it is not how much money you accumulate, it is how much love you accumulate for others.

Google's Larry Page Delivers Powerful Commencement Speech

Google’s co-founder Larry Page gave an inspiring commencement speech at the University of Michigan. He urged the graduating students to follow their dreams however impossible it may look like.
Larry Page has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan. Thanks to his brilliant success with Google, University of Michigan honored him to be its commencement speaker and gave him an honorary doctor’s degree.

He was very happy to come back to the university where all his family, mother, dad, brother graduated from the same university.

Page thanked the University for giving him the honor to speak.

Larry Page talked about how he came up with the “Google idea” in the middle of the night at the age of 23. He said he had a big dream one night. Instead of forgetting about it the next morning, he woke up and started writing about the concept.

When I suddenly woke up, I was thinking: what if we could download the whole web, and just keep the links and… I grabbed a pen and started writing! Sometimes it is important to wake up and stop dreaming. I spent the middle of that night scribbling out the details and convincing myself it would work. Soon after, I told my advisor, Terry Winograd, it would take a couple of weeks to download the web — he nodded knowingly, fully aware it would take much longer but wise enough to not tell me.

Thanks to his advisor’s encouragement, he decided to keep working on the concept.

The optimism of youth is often underrated! Amazingly, I had no thought of building a search engine. The idea wasn’t even on the radar. But, much later we happened upon a better way of ranking webpages to make a really great search engine, and Google was born. When a really great dream shows up, grab it!

Now that dream has become a big reality, Google made $16 billion last year and employs more than 19,000.

Page also talked about his father’s and India’s polio problems, he wants the graduates to find a cure and eradicate polio once for all.

The video has a slight audio glitch for one minute there is no sound between 1:30 and 2:30 minutes into the video. But for a full transcript click this link here.
