When I go for walks daily for physical exercise, I also use it for mental exercise, it cools me down when I see the nature. With the change of the seasons, the surroundings have different hues and shades, each tree showing the beauty of nature. It always gives me comfort to watch them, as if it soothes your soul and nothing becomes important, deadline or issues all have to wait. The place I walk by I see rows and rows of pine trees, they grow tall and always stay green through out the year.

For those of you who don't know about Pine tree, here is the definition from Wikipedia: A pine is a coniferous tree of the genus Pinus, in the family Pinaceae. In layman's terms they have leaves that are pine like sharp needles. But they are harmless. There are about 115 species in the world, I don't know which species the ones I am seeing, in fact I see more than one type. And some species of pine trees are exclusively used for Christmas trees. And plus they have numerous uses for this tree.
These Pine trees inspired me to write this. It will look an ordinary tree from outside but they show these characteristics.

Constant Pine:
O! Carolina Pine!,
While others grow haphazard,
You grow tall,
While others wax and wane,
You stay the same,
While others change colors in seasons or in no sequence,
You remain green,
While others sound loud and discordant,
You evince harmony,
While others whine and moan in wintry life,
You remain serene,
While others flaunt their riches,
You remain graceful,
While many are untameble (wild) or rebellious,
You are obedient,

While others are ambiguous,
You are clear,
While others are intimidating,
You are gentle as a feather,
While others gather in a rage,
You also gather like a jasmine cluster, only in peace,
Did God send you along with love?
You smile in silence.
